The VHP speech-language pathologists (SLPs) provide individualized intervention to active-duty service members and veterans with a history of head injury who are having trouble in areas including memory, attention, word finding, executive functioning, time management, problem solving, auditory processing, reading comprehension, written expression, and speech fluency. The SLPs provide clients with extensive education, then guide them through practical application of functional strategies based on their desired goals. Participants engage in a variety of activities that promote neuroplasticity and cognitive health.

VHP’s SLPs are nationally certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and are Certified Brain Injury Specialists through the Brain Injury Association of America. They have dedicated their careers to the brain health of service members and veterans.
