MANUAL THERAPY
THERAPEUTIC BODYWORK
VHP’s facility houses two manual therapy suites designed to take a whole-body approach to assessing and working on soft-tissue impingements that restrict movement, can be the source of chronic pain, and can reduce central nervous system functionality. Our licensed manual therapists take each session step by step, assessing postural, fascial, muscular and even emotional hinderances before each individual treatment.
The goal of manual therapy is to ultimately increase each operator’s quality of life. Manual therapy achieves this by increasing range of motion, reducing pain and swelling through improved vascular function, breakdown of scar tissue that is impeding functionality, assisting with down regulation of Central Nervous System, reducing existing symptoms of tendonitis, improving digestion, increasing sleep quality, and improving energy. Consistent manual therapy throughout the program provides operators the ability to improve stress management for daily life.
